Good Saturday Morning,

Good Morning all,

If you could see me now, under a "tent" made from my little blanket, posting!  Ha

First things first......WAY TO GO BARB!!!  For those of you who have been under a rock, Barb from Northern Cal landed the job she had wanted.  Origionally they had said they would contact her next week, but she got the call yesterday.  I am so proud of you Barb, but I just knew you had the job, one of those gut feelings.  Then to top it off she is going to be coming down and visiting.  How fun is that?  I hope she has a great time down here.

So today brings me "maybe" a trip to Costco.  We are going to try to head out there early.  I really don't have alot of problems doing alot of walking, it's the driving in the car that kills me.  I have to wear the back brace/boob lift when we go somewhere in the car...and it's really hard and it hurts my back to wear it.  We shall see.....all say prayers there is no pain this time.  I am scheduled for physical therapy consultation on Thurs or Wed, heck I don't even remember, but I can't wait.

So everyone what is on your agenda today?  I know that Rhonda is taking it easy, finally.  Steph is on her way to Boston, and that is all my 60 yr old mind will allow me to remember at 1:40 in the morning.

Good morning Diane and California,

Just a quick hi and bye from me.  I'm up and about to jump in the shower.  Then I need to throw the last few things in my suit case and get ready to leave the house for my tax course this morning.  It is going to be a very long day until we land in Boston tomorrow morning at 7AM.  Hopefully I will sleep on the plane.

Everyone have a great week  If I can, I'll hop on during the week and say hi.  Otherwise, see you all in a week and remember to do something wonderful just for yourself every single day.

Well I am glad it is the weekend.  Although it is not going to be very warm up here according to the news, it should still be nice.  I was thinking of going to the beach one of the days, but if it is not over 70 at Monterey or Santa Cruz forget it!  I get cold so easy now!

Found me a nice leather jacket at the thrift store yesterday-yoo hoo!  Trying to get a few things together for the cold weather.  Some barley fit but I know in a few weeks they will be fine.

Santa Cruz is supposed to be 70 today, but 75 on Sunday and even warmer on Monday.  It should be nice her so come on over!

Mornin Diane and Cali!  How fun that you get to camp Diane!  lol . .. How GREAT for Barb!  How happy for Steph . . . and everyone else has at least one thing to be happy for too I'm sure . . .

I slept to 6:30 . . . wahoo . .. I'm on the late shift at Costco both days this weekend . . . which is fine . . .and then I'm off everything until the 16th!  I have to tell you I had such a wonderful response from everyone (here and other places) with names and pictures for my 3 Day hat . .. that I had to spread them out over 3 hats for our team . . . that way no one was covered up . . . spent all last night sewing them on . . . it sure is going to be fun!  I leave Tuesday evening for Seattle . . . and they are predicting no rain (yea) and 80 degrees (ummmm . .. I was hoping for cooler!) . . .

Good Morning Diane and Cali Friends,

Diane, you're too cute!  Can't wait to meet you and Dougie next weekend and of course everyone else!  I hope Ron can come with me, but we'll see if we can line up some support for his Mom & Dad first.  Rhonda has been so gracious to help me pull this all off, God bless her! 

Well, needless to say I am a more relaxed person, which is pretty hard to imagine because I am very laid back normally.  I don't let it show very much when I'm stressed but Ron sure has me pegged!  LOL He's so cute, he took me out to dinner last night to celebrate, so we went to Applebee's.  I have enough left over for lunch and dinner tonight!  LOL

I hope everyone knows from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am to be blessed with my OH friends.  I continue to thank God for not only blessing me with my RNY but with all the wonderful supportive friends I've made on my journey.  It just blows me away.

This weekend I am going to rally for lunch or dinner tonight with my cousin from Boise who is flying in this morning.  Then tomorrow is a baby shower for my other cousin's son & daughter-in-law in San Jose. I'm off to get a present for the baby today and some shoes for me!  LOL

My father-in-law will be coming home tomorrow after being in the hospital since May.  We are so excited to get him back home, as truth be known we didn't think he was going to come home.  Isla is really excited and we are busy helping her with preparations.  This is just a miracle.

Well, I sure do hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  Do something nice for yourselves and this time next week, I'll be down in So Cal visiting friends!

Good Morning Calif............

Well, here it is, 8 days later, and I am still among the living. And it was not as bad as I thought it would be, of course I did sleep in this morning until 7AM.

OK truly it sucked and I will have to double think anything like that, before I agree to that brand of abuse. Most of the days I was alone and had to work the whole hospital. UGH!!! But I guess it might have be worth, I think I will have some great news next week to tell you all about. I don't want to say anything right now because it might jenx it. So I will wait until it's a forsure thing. But I think its rocking great news.

OK time for coffee and start my cleaning. I might have to go until work on monday and help clean up the mess, since the computer has been down for 5 days and should be up on monday. Ha Ha Ha Ha
